Sami İğdemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göksel Cevher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazil Kutlay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SipahiSpor's zone, Erkin Akasma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Songurhan Toran came out of the goal and Erkin Akasma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Songurhan Toran made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Erkin Akasma sent off a good shot on target. Mustafa Ekrem Tezveren in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Songurhan Toran, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 24 minutes into the match, Abdi Sungur notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GAGS 1925's Göksel Cevher. Göksel Cevher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erkan Elmacı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurhan Toran having to interfere. With his leg Songurhan Toran managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when GAGS 1925's Erkin Akasma fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Abdi Sungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazil Kutlay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Göksel Cevher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mustafa Ekrem Tezveren came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the GAGS 1925 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Ekrem Tezveren couldn't finish the play. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SipahiSpor! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
