Bican Münib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Melih Cevdet Adıgün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saadettin Haymanalı made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Berker Rıza Makbul sent off a good shot on target. If Bican Münib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bican Münib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Berker Rıza Makbul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Inönü booed when Ayazpasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artun Saykal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Berker Rıza Makbul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayazpasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Berker Rıza Makbul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berker Rıza Makbul's late challenge caught a Inönü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berker Rıza Makbul helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ayazpasa getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Berker Rıza Makbul hit a great ball. Afşar Tuğtekin charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afşar Tuğtekin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Inönü got a freekick which was hit by Afşar Tuğtekin. In the 95th minute, Bican Münib got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inönü's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
