Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Egemen Dilan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tanju Cebir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanju Urluk in the 12th minute of the match. Arpacay's Seyfettin Özaktuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egemen Dilan in the 15th minute of play. Arpacay's Tanju Urluk got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egemen Dilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Seyfettin Özaktuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Reha Halıcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nihat İltemur charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nihat İltemur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nihat İltemur hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Egemen Dilan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfettin Özaktuğ having to interfere. After some careless play in the Arpacay defense, Aziz Taybars kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seyfettin Özaktuğ. The Arpacay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seyfettin Özaktuğ should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute Tanju Urluk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanju Cebir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reha Halıcı to strike the kick off in the second half. Tanju Cebir made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tanju Urluk sent off a good shot on target. Tanju Urluk took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tanju Cebir. Tanju Cebir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Arpacay's Tanju Urluk got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Reha Halıcı took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Tanju Cebir to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 75 minutes, Reha Halıcı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arpacay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reha Halıcı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taci Hazer charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taci Hazer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Taci Hazer kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Reha Halıcı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seyfettin Özaktuğ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egemen Dilan's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Aziz Taybars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfettin Özaktuğ having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Arpacay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baysal Akçan to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Ilgin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arpacay:s goal. Ahmet Hamdi Hür shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 95 minutes, Süreyya Işınay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ilgin and the Arpacay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Süreyya Işınay kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Arpacay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
