İslam Akgündüz was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Egemen Dilan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İslam Akgündüz. Beşiktaş JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egemen Dilan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 36th minute of the match Ekber Demirkan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but İslam Akgündüz skillfully saved the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egemen Dilan was the one to do the kick off. If Aziz Taybars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilgin played a much better game than Beşiktaş JK and deserved their victory. The Beşiktaş JK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
