Ömer Rıza Üstündağ started the match with the kick off. Tuna Toprak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tanju Rahmet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazhar Akansel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanju Rahmet having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Gülnar's goalkeeper Tanju Rahmet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mazhar Akansel. Mazhar Akansel might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tanju Rahmet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mazhar Akansel ran back to his position shaking his head. Hasret Kutlucan charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hasret Kutlucan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mazhar Akansel struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Tanju Rahmet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RedBull Energy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuna Toprak in the 23rd minute of play forced Gülnar's goalkeeper Tanju Rahmet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Berkant Ergüder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gülnar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sancar Suel during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Selçuk Yildıran was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Ömer Rıza Üstündağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Tümer Rahim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RedBull Energy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gülnar the free kick. A collision led to RedBull Energy getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tümer Rahim hit a great ball. Ömer Rıza Üstündağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ömer Rıza Üstündağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şimşek Yarkın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanju Rahmet having to interfere.

The wind increased when Tuna Toprak made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Gülnar's goal looked a bit too open when Mazhar Akansel came free, but Tanju Rahmet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Mazhar Akansel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanju Rahmet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tuna Toprak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 57 minutes, Mazhar Akansel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RedBull Energy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazhar Akansel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mazhar Akansel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanju Rahmet having to interfere. If Mazhar Akansel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasret Kutlucan was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 67th minute, Hasret Kutlucan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mazhar Akansel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gülnar booed when RedBull Energy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şimşek Yarkın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berkant Ergüder's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Selman Acunman firmly grabbed it by the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Mazhar Akansel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tanju Rahmet. Gülnar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mazhar Akansel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gülnar's Tanju Rahmet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazhar Akansel in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gülnar's zone, Mazhar Akansel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanju Rahmet came out of the goal and Mazhar Akansel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Mazhar Akansel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gülnar succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though RedBull Energy had controlled the match.
