After a rather tough play, Inönü's Serhat Akkın got a free kick in the 11th minute. Saadettin Haymanalı made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Seyfi Tura sent off a good shot on target. Seyfi Tura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Saadettin Haymanalı made a huge save. The nice shot from Seyfi Tura in the 17thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Saadettin Haymanalı had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Kirikkale's İslam Sağan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efekan Oruk in the 19th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Seyfi Tura elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Kirikkale getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mustafa Oğuz Mukremin hit a great ball. Inönü's Bican Münib got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kasım Zahir came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Saadettin Haymanalı could save by the left post. With a little luck, Inönü's Saadettin Haymanalı got control of the ball when Seyfi Tura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Buğra Cenan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saadettin Haymanalı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seyfi Tura in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute of the match, Kasım Zahir got a very nice opportunity to score, but Saadettin Haymanalı was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bican Münib made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Inönü's zone, Seyfi Tura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saadettin Haymanalı came out of the goal and Seyfi Tura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kasım Zahir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saadettin Haymanalı having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serhat Akkın during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Inönü's Serhat Akkın got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Ümit Taşkıner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Zeki kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Seyfi Tura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Saadettin Haymanalı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saadettin Haymanalı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seyfi Tura, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Turgut Hirfanlı made a precise shot to the right of Saadettin Haymanalı. Inönü's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seyfi Tura in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saadettin Haymanalı saved Inönü from getting behind. Seyfi Tura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
