Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reha Halıcı kicked off to start the match. Tanju Urluk might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tanju Rahmet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tanju Urluk ran back to his position shaking his head. Gülnar's Tanju Rahmet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reha Halıcı in the 21st minute of play. Reha Halıcı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tanju Rahmet having to make a save. Tanju Rahmet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tanju Urluk went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Baysal Akçan had to leave the field with a concussion. A collision led to Gülnar getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sancar Suel hit a great ball. Tunç Turalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tanju Rahmet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanju Urluk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanju Rahmet having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Gülnar's goal looked a bit too open when Tanju Urluk came free, but Tanju Rahmet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Gülnar's goal looked a bit too open when Uğuralp Biçimli came free, but Tanju Rahmet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Reha Halıcı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Tanju Urluk got free with Tanju Rahmet in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Arpacay's Tunç Turalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanju Rahmet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Tunç Turalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tanju Rahmet. Gülnar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tunç Turalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 86 minutes into the match, Gülnar's goalkeeper Tanju Rahmet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tanju Urluk. Ahmet Boran Nafiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Tanju Rahmet made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Tanju Urluk fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tanju Rahmet, passed just outside the right post. Reha Halıcı struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Tanju Rahmet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arpacay. Reha Halıcı got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-5 in the right cross in the 93rd match minute before Tanju Rahmet had time to react. If Tanju Urluk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Arpacay left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gülnar.
