Arpacay's Reha Halıcı got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seyfettin Özaktuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günalp Hazlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Bülent Adalı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tanju Urluk in the 9th minute. When Alaaddin Karakan fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ordu's protests and gave Alaaddin Karakan a yellow card for diving instead. Alaaddin Karakan kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tanju Urluk during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Arpacay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanju Urluk to maneuver through the defense. Günalp Hazlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bülent Adalı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reha Halıcı's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Seyfettin Özaktuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet İlke Fidan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ordu's Bülent Adalı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reha Halıcı in the 28th minute of play. If Günalp Hazlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Ordu getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bayındır Salar hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Reha Halıcı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arpacay's Reha Halıcı got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tanju Urluk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ordu's Alemdar Kabataş got a free kick in the 41st minute. Günalp Hazlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfettin Özaktuğ having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Tanju Urluk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arpacay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanju Urluk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Günalp Hazlan was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ordu's goal looked a bit too open when Baysal Akçan came free, but Bülent Adalı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet İlke Fidans short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Seyfettin Özaktuğ to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Günalp Hazlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ahmet İlke Fidan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sami Alansoy charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sami Alansoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arpacay! If Tanju Urluk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Arpacay's goalkeeper Seyfettin Özaktuğ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet İlke Fidan. Ahmet İlke Fidan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Seyfettin Özaktuğ skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Seyfettin Özaktuğ made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ahmet İlke Fidan sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Ahmet Boran Nafiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 minutes, Tanju Urluk made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ordu's Bülent Adalı tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
