Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ayberk Harmandalı made the kick off which started today's match. When Ömer Rıza Üstündağ came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Gülnar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ömer Rıza Üstündağ couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ayberk Harmandalı in the 15th minute of play forced Gülnar's goalkeeper Tanju Rahmet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ayberk Harmandalı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berker Rıza Makbul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 20 minutes, Berkant Ergüder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gülnar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berkant Ergüder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melih Cevdet Adıgün came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gülnar's Berkant Ergüder. But to his dismay, Berkant Ergüder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27thth minute of the game Ayberk Harmandalı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gülnar's Tanju Rahmet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Berkant Ergüder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Melih Cevdet Adıgün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Berkant Ergüder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berkant Ergüder might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melih Cevdet Adıgün. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berkant Ergüder ran back to his position shaking his head. Melih Cevdet Adıgün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Rıza Üstündağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 41st minute Ayberk Harmandalı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanju Rahmet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Gülnar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ayazpasa:s goal. Gülnar:s Tanju Rahmet showed great skill when he stopped Ali Atıf Vezir:s penalty. Berkant Ergüder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Melih Cevdet Adıgün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Gülnar were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ömer Rıza Üstündağ made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Rıza Üstündağ in the 55th minute of play forced Ayazpasa's goalkeeper Melih Cevdet Adıgün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Artun Saykal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayazpasa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gülnar the free kick. Ayazpasa's Melih Cevdet Adıgün proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ayazpasa from getting a goal against them. When Sancar Suel fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gülnar's protests and gave Sancar Suel a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Gülnar got a freekick which was hit by Sancar Suel. Berker Rıza Makbul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanju Rahmet having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Ayazpasa got a freekick which was hit by Artun Saykal. The audience was convinced that Ömer Rıza Üstündağ's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melih Cevdet Adıgün was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Berkant Ergüder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gülnar's supporters rose to their feet, but Berkant Ergüder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melih Cevdet Adıgün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berker Rıza Makbul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 minutes, Savaşer Kapkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ayazpasa and the Gülnar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Ayazpasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Savaşer Kapkin to maneuver through the defense. If Berker Rıza Makbul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Rıza Üstündağ in the 83rd minute of play forced Ayazpasa's goalkeeper Melih Cevdet Adıgün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Melih Cevdet Adıgün successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gülnar's Berkant Ergüder got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Gülnar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gülnar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
