In the 21st minute, Seyfullah Baysu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baycan Attaroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Semail Kılıçhan charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Hacı Ali Birsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ejder Hafızoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Hacı Ali Birsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ejder Hafızoğlu came out and tried to block the shot, but Hacı Ali Birsen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seyfullah Baysu was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Seyfullah Baysu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tatvan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seyfullah Baysu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 52nd minute, İsmail Orhun Saadettin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Silifke's zone, Seyfullah Baysu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ejder Hafızoğlu came out of the goal and Seyfullah Baysu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ejder Hafızoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hacı Ali Birsen in the 58th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Silifke got a freekick which was hit by Alpertunga Usbey. 83 minutes into the match, Silifke's goal looked a bit too open when Hacı Ali Birsen came free, but Ejder Hafızoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Seyfullah Baysu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hacı Ali Birsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ejder Hafızoğlu having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Tatvan's Seyfullah Baysu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ejder Hafızoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seyfullah Baysu in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ejder Hafızoğlu saved Silifke from getting behind. Hacı Ali Birsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hacı Ali Birsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tatvan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
