With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdulhamit Erduran in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uğuralp Kızılaslan saved Tokatspor from getting behind. 5 minutes into the match, Abdulhamit Erduran notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tokatspor's Uğuralp Kızılaslan. Uğuralp Kızılaslan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silifke's Ejder Hafızoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Silifke from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the game, Zaid Pakel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silifke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tokatspor the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Silifke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alpertunga Usbey to maneuver through the defense. Uğuralp Kızılaslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baycan Attaroğlu in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Tokatspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nizam Şahtürk to maneuver through the defense. Cenan Suhan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Uğuralp Kızılaslan. Tokatspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 30th minute, Kuzey Uçanay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdulhamit Erduran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uğuralp Kızılaslan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tokatspor's zone, Baycan Attaroğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uğuralp Kızılaslan came out of the goal and Baycan Attaroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nizam Şahtürk was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Tokatspor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Baycan Attaroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uğuralp Kızılaslan having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Çelikan Sezal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Çelikan Sezal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ejder Hafızoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 58th minute Çelikan Sezal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ejder Hafızoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuzey Uçanay might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ejder Hafızoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kuzey Uçanay ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tokatspor's Çelikan Sezal in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Silifke's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kuzey Uçanay during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kuzey Uçanay kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Çelikan Sezal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tokatspor getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Aras Uzhan hit a great ball. Kuzey Uçanay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kuzey Uçanay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ejder Hafızoğlu having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tokatspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Silifke had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
