Spectators: 7261 (Terracing: 5447, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ahmet Kutsi Tuğaltan got the match started through his kick off. Gürel Serdinç came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Akyurt's Agah Kamuran. But to his dismay, Agah Kamuran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 5th minute, Lefter Kaan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Şefik Özdoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Can Alptekin having to interfere. Akyurt's Habib Kutberk got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gürel Serdinç came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Akyurt's Agah Kamuran. But to his dismay, Agah Kamuran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Can Alptekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Kutsi Tuğaltan in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Salernitana's Bora Berkkan got a free kick in the 30th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Kutsi Tuğaltan during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Habib Kutberk in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gürel Serdinç saved Salernitana from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Salernitana's goal looked a bit too open when Agah Kamuran came free, but Gürel Serdinç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Habib Kutberk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Habib Kutberk in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gürel Serdinç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agah Kamuran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Salernitana booed when Akyurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Kırdar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Habib Kutberk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürel Serdinç having to interfere. Gürel Serdinç was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Agah Kamuran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. Arif Refah kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Mehmet Şefik Özdoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Can Alptekin having to make a save. In the 74thth minute of the game Ahmet Kutsi Tuğaltan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Akyurt's Can Alptekin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Habib Kutberk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Habib Kutberk scored 0-5 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gürel Serdinç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gürel Serdinç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agah Kamuran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Habib Kutberk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gürel Serdinç. Salernitana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Habib Kutberk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Akyurt left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Salernitana.
