Gürel Serdinç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adem Adaş in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, gümüshacıköy's Ahmet Bedri Öğün sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gürel Serdinç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Salernitana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüsamettin Cevher to maneuver through the defense. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adem Adaş couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Adem Adaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adem Adaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The gümüshacıköy fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when gümüshacıköy's Adem Adaş looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
