After 22 minutes, Emir Akoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kaan Bahçe FK. and the Sakaryaspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Niyazi Boyraz fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaan Bahçe FK.'s protests and gave Niyazi Boyraz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sakaryaspor getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Korkut Erincer hit a great ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sakaryaspor's goalie and right to Rahman Tacir. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sakaryaspor's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
