Yaman Kandemir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Altuğ Öztanır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Korhan Sebuktekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sütlüce SK's zone, Altuğ Öztanır stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaman Kandemir came out of the goal and Altuğ Öztanır tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes GÖZTEPE got a freekick which was hit by Vacid Sahadettin. Sütlüce SK were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after GÖZTEPE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anıl Mücahit Mazlum took the corner. The corner led Sütlüce SK's Kuzey Zakir to fire away a dangerous shot which Enver Akman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Çakır Tümen's late challenge caught a Sütlüce SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Çakır Tümen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Çakır Tümen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Altuğ Öztanır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yaman Kandemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altuğ Öztanır's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yaman Kandemir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Sütlüce SK's Yıldıray Bucuk got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in GÖZTEPE's zone, Yıldıray Bucuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enver Akman came out of the goal and Yıldıray Bucuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Korhan Sebuktekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sütlüce SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GÖZTEPE the free kick. Yaman Kandemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gazi Yasık in the 50th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Altuğ Öztanır to make the kick off. Enver Akman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldıray Bucuk in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Yıldıray Bucuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gazi Yasık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Yaman Kandemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yıldıray Bucuk in the 75th minute of play forced GÖZTEPE's goalkeeper Enver Akman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hazım Cerit kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Enver Akman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yıldıray Bucuk in the 82nd minute of play. Altuğ Öztanır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Korhan Sebuktekin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sütlüce SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Korhan Sebuktekin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enver Akman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korhan Sebuktekin hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sütlüce SK had won after a very even match.
