Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Batu Mehdi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ersan Berat was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Bilge Kutbay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kalkandere's Remzi Tecmil got a free kick in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batu Mehdi in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ersan Berat saved galatasarays from getting behind. Gökalp Batıray kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ali Haydar İrfan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Birol Akbaş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The galatasarays fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Batu Mehdi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ersan Berat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Aktan Kabadayı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Gökalp Batıray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ersan Berat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aktan Kabadayı fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored galatasarays's protests and gave Aktan Kabadayı a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökalp Batıray in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ersan Berat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Şevket Oker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ersan Berat made a huge save. galatasarays's Ersan Berat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şevket Oker in the 47th minute of play.

If Şeray Vahapoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalkandere's Gökalp Batıray got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kamer Erten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Necati Bican in the 58th minute. Ersan Berat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batu Mehdi's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Gökalp Batıray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ersan Berat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalkandere's Kamer Erten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birol Akbaş in the 63rd minute of play. Batu Mehdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Güngör Saim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Bilge Kutbay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ersan Berat was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Kamer Erten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birol Akbaş in the 76th minute of play. Şevket Oker struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ersan Berat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalkandere. After having played for 80 minutes, Şevket Oker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalkandere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şevket Oker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ersan Berat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şevket Oker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gökalp Batıray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ersan Berat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
