Fazıl Utman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulbaki Mevlit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Mustafa Ali Cingöz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fazıl Utman. Altinözü FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Ali Cingöz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Gürol Bahadıroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gökberk Tacim came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Altay SK fans jumped to their feet.
