Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bayındır Mehmet Derviş got the match started through his kick off. Vefa Doğanay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Veysel Ekber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veysel Ekber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bayındır Mehmet Derviş in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayındır Mehmet Derviş in the 18th minute of play forced Bayrampasa's goalkeeper Veysel Ekber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Arif Egemen Bayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oğuz Uraltay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Gönen got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Oğuz Yavuz. The long shot by Nihat Özdoğan in the 26th minute really tested Veysel Ekber's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gönen's Vefa Doğanay pulled a muscle in his back after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 30 minutes, Hayrettin Yılkan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayrampasa and the Gönen players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gönen booed when Bayrampasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayrettin Yılkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Ahmet Asım Akbaba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gönen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Asım Akbaba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bayrampasa's zone, Bora Demirezen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veysel Ekber came out of the goal and Bora Demirezen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gönen's Ahmet Asım Akbaba got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arif Egemen Bayer to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bayrampasa's zone, Ahmet Asım Akbaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veysel Ekber came out of the goal and Ahmet Asım Akbaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Bayındır Mehmet Derviş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gönen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayındır Mehmet Derviş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Mustafa Arif Gümüşcü cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Veysel Ekber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gönen's Ahmet Asım Akbaba got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bayındır Mehmet Derviş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veysel Ekber having to interfere. Gönen's Mustafa Arif Gümüşcü suffered a concussion after 73 minutes and had to leave the field. After 73 minutes, Koray Sudi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayrampasa and the Gönen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Asım Akbaba might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Veysel Ekber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Asım Akbaba ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute Ahmet Asım Akbaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veysel Ekber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bayındır Mehmet Derviş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Ahmet Asım Akbaba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hüsnü Baysal hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Gönen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
