Spectators: 7192 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 100) Türkeş Satvet started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bilge Kutbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Batu Mehdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celal Özdilek having to interfere. Şevket Oker took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celal Özdilek. Celal Özdilek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 25th minute Yavuz Bülent Usman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celal Özdilek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Kalkandere's Remzi Tecmil seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Remzi Tecmil the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kalkandere protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Remzi Tecmil had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 33rd minute, one of Kalkandere:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kalkandere. The goalkeeper, Kamer Erten, was totally fooled by KARABULUT's Korhan Ekici, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sezai Rasim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celal Özdilek having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Gökalp Batıray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celal Özdilek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batu Mehdi in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celal Özdilek saved KARABULUT from getting behind. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by KARABULUT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Şevket Oker was slow to take the kick. During this time Kalkandere's players had a chance to rest. 47 minutes into the match, Batu Mehdi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celal Özdilek. KARABULUT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batu Mehdi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kamer Erten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Satvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Gökalp Batıray hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The supporters of KARABULUT booed when Kalkandere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökalp Batıray didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Gökalp Batıray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalkandere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökalp Batıray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yavuz Bülent Usman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökalp Batıray in the 64th minute of play forced KARABULUT's goalkeeper Celal Özdilek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gökalp Batıray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celal Özdilek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batu Mehdi in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the KARABULUT defense, Yavuz Bülent Usman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celal Özdilek. The KARABULUT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celal Özdilek should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute, Bilge Kutbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Yavuz Bülent Usman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalkandere's supporters rose to their feet, but Yavuz Bülent Usman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celal Özdilek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bayram Zübeyir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gökalp Batıray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batu Mehdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celal Özdilek having to interfere. Gökalp Batıray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celal Özdilek having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Batu Mehdi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celal Özdilek. The goal made the score 1-4. Kalkandere played a much better game than KARABULUT and deserved their victory. The KARABULUT players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
