The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Cemberlitas FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emir Toper fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Burak Özyurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerim Kıvılcım, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Kerim Kıvılcım got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Kurucesme's goal looked a bit too open when Durmuş Ertuna came free, but Burak Özyurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burak Özyurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durmuş Ertuna, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes Cemberlitas FK got a freekick which was hit by Kerim Kıvılcım. Kurucesme's Burak Özyurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerim Kıvılcım in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Durmuş Ertuna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cemberlitas FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Durmuş Ertuna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Burak Özyurt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kurucesme's Burak Özyurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerim Kıvılcım in the 26th minute of play. Burak Özyurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durmuş Ertuna in the 28th minute of play. Kerim Kıvılcım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Kerim Kıvılcım in the 34th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 54th minute, Bulut Yağın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 60 minutes, Kerim Kıvılcım managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cemberlitas FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kerim Kıvılcım was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Durmuş Ertuna notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kurucesme's Burak Özyurt. Burak Özyurt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Durmuş Ertuna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute of the match, Durmuş Ertuna tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Burak Özyurt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Kurucesme's Burak Özyurt got control of the ball when Kerim Kıvılcım tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Kudret Süngü sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cemberlitas FK's Cenap Verim didn't even have to move. Cenap Verim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emir Toper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arın Ferhat Özerdim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cemberlitas FK played a much better game than Kurucesme and deserved their victory. The Kurucesme players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
