Gazanfer Nazmi charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gazanfer Nazmi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Cemberlitas FK got a freekick which was hit by Gazanfer Nazmi. Beşir Tekinalp hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Cemberlitas FK's Cenap Verim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osman Nuri Yeğiner in the 6th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Burhan İkram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Durmuş Ertuna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cemberlitas FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Durmuş Ertuna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdulkerim Malgır breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 minutes, Burhan İkram mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayrampasa and the Cemberlitas FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Burhan İkram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kerim Kıvılcım came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Cemberlitas FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kerim Kıvılcım couldn't finish the play. After 28 minutes of play, Cemberlitas FK's Kerim Kıvılcım made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdulkerim Malgır was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cemberlitas FK's goalkeeper Cenap Verim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Semih Eryaman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bayrampasa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cemberlitas FK the free kick. After 40 played minutes Bayrampasa got a freekick which was hit by Semih Eryaman. In the 42nd match minute, Bayrampasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağan Saye to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Bayrampasa's Burhan İkram got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Durmuş Ertuna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bayrampasa's Semih Eryaman got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Semih Eryaman off the ground. In the 58th match minute, Bayrampasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semih Eryaman to maneuver through the defense. Kerim Kıvılcım fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulkerim Malgır having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cemberlitas FK's Durmuş Ertuna got a free kick in the 65th minute. Cenap Verim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Macit Adaş in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Bayrampasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağan Saye to maneuver through the defense. If Ali Macit Adaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Cemberlitas FK's Kerim Kıvılcım dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. If Kerim Kıvılcım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cemberlitas FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cemberlitas FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
