Bilge Sabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Arif Çelebi Erdönmez made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Bilge Sabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. 42 GENÇLİK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bilge Sabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Çelebi Erdönmez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Gafur Ersal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kamil Çağan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Saffet Yazır took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kamil Çağan. 42 GENÇLİK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Arif Çelebi Erdönmez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 42 GENÇLİK's Kamil Çağan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gafur Ersal in the 33rd minute of play. Faruk Nafiz Kainat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gafur Ersal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeşilhisar 1997 SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gafur Ersal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kamil Çağan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of 42 GENÇLİK booed when Yeşilhisar 1997 SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hamdi Balatürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 GENÇLİK's Necat Aygüneş couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Yeşilhisar 1997 SK. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Bilge Sabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Arif Çelebi Erdönmez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faruk Nafiz Kainat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Çelebi Erdönmez having to interfere. 42 GENÇLİK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Gafur Ersal scored to the left of an out of position Kamil Çağan, making the score, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when İsmail Orhun Cebel got free with Kamil Çağan in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gafur Ersal in the 81st minute of play forced 42 GENÇLİK's goalkeeper Kamil Çağan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If İsmail Orhun Cebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İsmail Orhun Cebel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yeşilhisar 1997 SK's Gafur Ersal got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kamil Çağan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gafur Ersal in the 94th minute of play. If Gafur Ersal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yeşilhisar 1997 SK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
