Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mehmet Emin Belek took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Emin Belek in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volkan Kamer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yağızhan Yaşam struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Kamil Tecmil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kösk. Atalan Kurtaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamil Tecmil having to interfere. Kösk's Yağızhan Yaşam got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atalan Kurtaran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kamil Tecmil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kösk's Hafız Sağlam got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Mehmet Emin Belek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mersin İdman Yurdu's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Emin Belek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volkan Kamer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yağızhan Yaşam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamil Tecmil having to interfere. Kamil Tecmil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atalan Kurtaran in the 30th minute of the match. If Yağızhan Yaşam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atalan Kurtaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kamil Tecmil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Kösk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yıldıray Berat to maneuver through the defense. Atalan Kurtaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Berk Işıldar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Yağızhan Yaşam came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Kösk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yağızhan Yaşam couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atalan Kurtaran to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Kösk's Yağızhan Yaşam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kamil Tecmil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atalan Kurtaran in the 62nd minute of play forced Mersin İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Kamil Tecmil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Atalan Kurtaran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamil Tecmil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Kösk's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Emin Belek came free, but Volkan Kamer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hafız Sağlam in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamil Tecmil saved Mersin İdman Yurdu from getting behind. Kamil Tecmil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yağızhan Yaşam's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 78th match minute, Mersin İdman Yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berk Işıldar to maneuver through the defense. When Yağızhan Yaşam came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Kösk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yağızhan Yaşam couldn't finish the play. If Olgun Nusrettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kösk's Atalan Kurtaran got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Yağızhan Yaşam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kösk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yağızhan Yaşam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yağızhan Yaşam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamil Tecmil having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Atalan Kurtaran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kamil Tecmil. Mersin İdman Yurdu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atalan Kurtaran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 97 minutes into the match, Kösk's Atalan Kurtaran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kamil Tecmil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kösk walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
