In the 12th minute, Boğaç Süngü sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kösk's Volkan Kamer didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hafız Sağlam got free with İhsan İlyas in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Volkan Kamer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aktuğ Tufan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İhsan İlyas made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Yağızhan Yaşam sent off a good shot on target. Aktuğ Tufan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Volkan Kamer having to make a save. When Baykan İzci fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hayrabolu's protests and gave Baykan İzci a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Hayrabolu got a freekick which was hit by Baykan İzci. Batuhan Orkutay's late challenge caught a Kösk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batuhan Orkutay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, Hayrabolu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batuhan Orkutay to maneuver through the defense. İhsan İlyas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atalan Kurtaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İhsan İlyas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yağızhan Yaşam in the 45th minute. If Ahmet Harun Doğu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Harun Doğu to make the kick off. Kadir Okan charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kadir Okan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. İhsan İlyas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atalan Kurtaran in the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Hayrabolu's goal looked a bit too open when Atalan Kurtaran came free, but İhsan İlyas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atalan Kurtaran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İhsan İlyas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Volkan Kamer made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Aktuğ Tufan sent off a good shot on target. When Ahmet Harun Doğu came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Hayrabolu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Harun Doğu couldn't finish the play. Aktuğ Tufan came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Volkan Kamer could save by the left post. Kösk succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hayrabolu had controlled the match.
