In the 3rd minute Yusuf Ziya Oğuzkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akay Özdeğer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barış Nesip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Aybek Şahbazoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yusuf Ziya Oğuzkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akay Özdeğer having to interfere. Aybek Şahbazoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uğuralp Kırgız in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Catak JK's Barış Nesip sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aybek Şahbazoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ceyhan Aksakal's late challenge caught a Tahtalıspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceyhan Aksakal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Catak JK's Ceyhan Aksakal got a free kick in the 18th minute. Alphan Köker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aybek Şahbazoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barış Nesip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Catak JK booed when Tahtalıspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Kenan Uzhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barış Nesip struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Aybek Şahbazoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catak JK. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uğuralp Kırgız made a kick off. Akay Özdeğer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Ziya Oğuzkan in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Catak JK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ziya İlker hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Ziya İlker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uğuralp Kırgız was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Catak JK's Barış Nesip got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
