After a defensive mix-up in fenerbahçe's zone, Ahmet İlhan İşcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özer İltemur came out of the goal and Ahmet İlhan İşcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as fenerbahçe's Gürel Masuk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Orbay Oykut. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. If Turgut İnanöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Gürel Masuk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orbay Oykut, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Turgut İnanöz got free with Orbay Oykut in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gürel Masuk made a kick off. Orbay Oykut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Turgut İnanöz's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Atletik Binboğa FK's goal looked a bit too open when Gürel Masuk came free, but Orbay Oykut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Turgut İnanöz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gürel Masuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orbay Oykut having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Atletik Binboğa FK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet İlhan İşcan. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletik Binboğa FK's goalkeeper Orbay Oykut, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Turgut İnanöz took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orbay Oykut. Orbay Oykut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. A collision led to Atletik Binboğa FK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Burhan Tatar hit a great ball. Burhan Tatar kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of fenerbahçe booed when Atletik Binboğa FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hıncal Çelebi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ensar İldeniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orbay Oykut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that fenerbahçe were the better team. fenerbahçe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
