In the 14th match minute, Yağmurspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Faruk Erçelik to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Iznik's zone, Tolga Delfin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duran Kutay came out of the goal and Tolga Delfin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 27 in the game by Mümin Tanrıverdi from a close distance when the talented Duran Kutay managed to make a qualified save. Iznik's players were relieved. 30 minutes into the match, Yağmurspor's goal looked a bit too open when Hayrullah Cingöz came free, but Ahmet Boran Şengil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Mümin Tanrıverdi could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Duran Kutay however easily saved by the left post. Tolga Delfin might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duran Kutay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tolga Delfin ran back to his position shaking his head. Iznik's Duran Kutay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Iznik from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Duran Kutay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolga Delfin, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolga Delfin in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duran Kutay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Duran Kutay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolga Delfin's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Mümin Tanrıverdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duran Kutay having to interfere. Ahmet Boran Şengil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erhun Emir in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Yağmurspor's goalkeeper Ahmet Boran Şengil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erhun Emir. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Iznik:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yağmurspor:s goal. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Yağmurspor. Batu Şabi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Duran Kutay. 1-0. Batu Şabi hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Iznik's Ahmet Ege Türe tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ahmet Boran Şengil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erhun Emir in the 89th minute. Erhun Emir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ahmet Boran Şengil made a huge save. Duran Kutay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mümin Tanrıverdi went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Iznik players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yağmurspor.
