In the 8th minute Korkut Başkur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Habib Sargut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okanay Çiftçi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Sargut having to interfere. Mogin's Teoman Tayman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semavi Oğuzalp in the 27th minute of play. Asrın İlmen in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
