Yaser Sadi kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Battal Gazi Ersevim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhan Asalet having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Atilla Kağan Yergin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Şerafettin Serafet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necaettin Rebi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baybars Kutsel scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erhan Asalet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 played minutes Karakartal got a freekick which was hit by İlyas Dürüst. Necaettin Rebi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlyas Dürüst, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlyas Dürüst in the 24th minute of play forced AYG SK's goalkeeper Necaettin Rebi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, AYG SK's goal looked a bit too open when İlyas Dürüst came free, but Necaettin Rebi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Erdi Eymen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necaettin Rebi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erhan Asalet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baybars Kutsel in the 31st minute. If Yaser Sadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilla Kağan Yergin got his second yellow card in the match during the 33rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 34 played minutes Karakartal got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Kağan Yergin. After 37th play minutes Battal Gazi Ersevim shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Erhan Asalet and just under the crossbar into goal. Necaettin Rebi came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Karakartal's Erdi Eymen. But to his dismay, Erdi Eymen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdi Eymen in the 45th minute of play forced AYG SK's goalkeeper Necaettin Rebi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erdi Eymen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Karakartal's Erdi Eymen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. With a little luck, AYG SK's Necaettin Rebi got control of the ball when Erdi Eymen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erdi Eymen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Necaettin Rebi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of AYG SK booed when Karakartal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şerafettin Serafet didn't get a good kick on the ball. AYG SK's Necaettin Rebi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save AYG SK from getting a goal against them. Kamer Çevikcan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a little luck, AYG SK's Necaettin Rebi got control of the ball when Erdi Eymen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the AYG SK defense, Erdi Eymen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Necaettin Rebi. The AYG SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Necaettin Rebi should have stopped the shot. Erdi Eymen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Necaettin Rebi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erdi Eymens short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Necaettin Rebi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When AYG SK's Yaser Sadi in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karakartal's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erdi Eymen got free with Necaettin Rebi in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Karakartal's İlyas Dürüst slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Necaettin Rebi. That made the score 2-6 after 88 minutes of play. With a little luck, AYG SK's Necaettin Rebi got control of the ball when Şerafettin Serafet tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Karakartal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Karakartal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
