The audience was convinced that Köksal Hacılar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alican Uğursel was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Muradiye were furious when Armağan Kornes was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Muradiye's Köksal Hacılar got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Köksal Hacılar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Köksal Hacılar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Köksal Hacılar made the kick off in the second half. Muradiye's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
