Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bayrakli's Aybek Yuluğ started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Bayrakli's goal looked a bit too open when Doğa Revnak came free, but Savaş Süphan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Doğa Revnak made a precise shot to the right of Savaş Süphan. Bayrakli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Arif Çelebi Yertan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybek Yuluğ in the 17th minute of play. If Doğa Revnak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Halit Saik fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayrakli's protests and gave Halit Saik a yellow card for diving instead. Halit Saik kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bayrakli's zone, Doğa Revnak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Savaş Süphan came out of the goal and Doğa Revnak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Bayrakli's goal looked a bit too open when Doğa Revnak came free, but Savaş Süphan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Songurhan Çile scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Savaş Süphan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kaptan Şanalp kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Gürol İltemiz came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Bayrakli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürol İltemiz couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çeliker Kutluay during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Çeliker Kutluay kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Gürol İltemiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Çelebi Yertan having to interfere. Gürol İltemiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mardin's Arif Çelebi Yertan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aybek Yuluğ in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doğa Revnak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arif Çelebi Yertan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürol İltemiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54thth minute of the game Aybek Yuluğ who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mardin's Arif Çelebi Yertan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Bayrakli getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Raik Seyidhan hit a great ball. Çeliker Kutluay kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Çeliker Kutluay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Songurhan Çile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Bayrakli:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mardin:s goal. When Aybek Yuluğ came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bayrakli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aybek Yuluğ couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mardin booed when Bayrakli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tahsin Koryürek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Savaş Süphan made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Songurhan Çile sent off a good shot on target. If Songurhan Çile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mardin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mardin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
