A collision led to 8-0 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ahmet Korcan Gariboğlu hit a great ball. Behzat Çetiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bülent Akbatur having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Behzat Çetiner in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bülent Akbatur saved 8-0 from getting behind. Coşkun Tunak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bülent Akbatur having to make a save. Coşkun Tunak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bülent Akbatur having to interfere. Bülent Akbatur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behzat Çetiner in the 44th minute of the match. With his leg İlker Taylak managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when 8-0's Muhittin Bilek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 52 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Cevahir Kayan. Özbek Baş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. When Muhittin Bilek came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the 8-0 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muhittin Bilek couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Muhittin Bilek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlker Taylak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coşkun Tunak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bülent Akbatur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coşkun Tunak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bülent Akbatur having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, 8-0 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutay Tolgahan to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Coşkun Tunak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Muhittin Bilek managed to get in a good position for a shot. 8-0's supporters rose to their feet, but Muhittin Bilek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İlker Taylak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, 8-0's goal looked a bit too open when Babür Ramiz came free, but Bülent Akbatur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Behzat Çetiner could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Bülent Akbatur however easily saved by the left post. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
