Coşkun Tunak hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Coşkun Tunak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sinan Saip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sinan Saip stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Coşkun Tunak's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Behzat Çetiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sinan Saip having to interfere. Adil Kabataş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galatasaray's İlker Taylak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arda Sarıalp in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Arda Sarıalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. İlker Taylak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Behzat Çetiner succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 29th playminute. Fırat Ünlüer scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of İlker Taylak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when AKHİSAR.SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bora Han Işıner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AKHİSAR.SPOR's zone, Behzat Çetiner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sinan Saip came out of the goal and Behzat Çetiner tried to chip the ball over his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Fırat Ünlüer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sinan Saip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Behzat Çetiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AKHİSAR.SPOR's Bora Han Işıner got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Behzat Çetiner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Behzat Çetiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Coşkun Tunak in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sinan Saip saved AKHİSAR.SPOR from getting behind. AKHİSAR.SPOR's Sinan Saip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coşkun Tunak in the 67th minute of play. Fırat Ünlüer hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Coşkun Tunak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adil Kabataş hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Behzat Çetiner got free in front of the goal in the 89th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Sinan Saip was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when AKHİSAR.SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaser Yalazalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mustafa İzzet Hataylı came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa İzzet Hataylı couldn't finish the play. In the 94thth minute of the game Coşkun Tunak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AKHİSAR.SPOR's Sinan Saip was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adil Kabataş during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 96 minutes, Coşkun Tunak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Coşkun Tunak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
