After having played for 10 minutes, Özbek Baş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 8-0's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özbek Baş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yiğit Can Resat might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bülent Akbatur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yiğit Can Resat ran back to his position shaking his head. Bülent Akbatur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yiğit Can Resat in the 22nd minute of the match. After 90 played minutes 8-0 got a freekick which was hit by Sungurhan Köklem. Özbek Baş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Akyazi JK fans cheered their team off the field, for while 8-0 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
