Ceyhun Sina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emrullah Rezzak went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emirhan Neşat in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceyhun Sina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Osman Engiay put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Derbent SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Corum:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Corum's zone, Üzeyir Kolçak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Binali Elmacı came out of the goal and Üzeyir Kolçak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Binali Elmacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Üzeyir Kolçak in the 35th minute of play. Battal Oğurata kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Binali Elmacı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Üzeyir Kolçak, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Derbent SK got a corner. Corum's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ergin Yazıcı ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ergin Yazıcı almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Corum's Binali Elmacı did a great save. Üzeyir Kolçak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Göksel Bürgehan came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Derbent SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göksel Bürgehan couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Üzeyir Kolçak to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Emrullah Rezzak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceyhun Sina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Efekan İhlas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Ergin Yazıcı in the 54th minute really tested Binali Elmacı's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Corum's zone, Üzeyir Kolçak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Binali Elmacı came out of the goal and Üzeyir Kolçak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corum's Binali Elmacı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yüce Mahir in the 64th minute of play. Emrullah Rezzak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ceyhun Sina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Derbent SK's Cevher İltemir got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Üzeyir Kolçak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Binali Elmacı when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Binali Elmacı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göksel Bürgehan in the 79th minute. Üzeyir Kolçak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Binali Elmacı made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Corum's zone, Göksel Bürgehan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Binali Elmacı came out of the goal and Göksel Bürgehan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Emrullah Rezzak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Corum were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Derbent SK for a fine match.
