The supporters of Corum booed when .Fenerbahçe SK. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okaner Sağlamtürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Binali Elmacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Baki Ayberk in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Ahmet Baki Ayberk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. .Fenerbahçe SK.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Baki Ayberk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Baki Ayberk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Binali Elmacı having to interfere. Binali Elmacı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Baki Ayberk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiz Şahiner in the 21st minute of play forced Corum's goalkeeper Binali Elmacı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Baki Ayberk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Binali Elmacı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Işıkalp Özerdinc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the .Fenerbahçe SK. and the Corum players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ramiz Şahiner managed to get in a good position for a shot. .Fenerbahçe SK.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiz Şahiner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiz Şahiner was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Binali Elmacı managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when .Fenerbahçe SK.'s Ahmet Baki Ayberk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 81st minute Emrullah Rezzak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hacı Altunay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corum's Binali Elmacı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiz Şahiner in the 86th minute of play. Binali Elmacı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiz Şahiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiz Şahiner in the 90th minute of play forced Corum's goalkeeper Binali Elmacı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Binali Elmacı made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Ahmet Baki Ayberk sent off a good shot on target. Efekan İhlas kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
