Talha Mahmut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rize's Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Rize from getting a goal against them. Yesilköy SK's Ali Atıf Asya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cevahir Çağar in the 5th minute of play. Ender Bera struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Ali Atıf Asya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rize. Mazhar İzzet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samim Aköz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Ender Bera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rize fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Yesilköy SK's Hüsnü Özenli couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rize. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Mazhar İzzet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yesilköy SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazhar İzzet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 minutes, Ali Çağrı Yaşam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rize and the Yesilköy SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Güner Ulu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Güner Ulu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, Yesilköy SK's Mazhar İzzet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rize's Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güner Ulu in the 52nd minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Güner Ulu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute Cevahir Çağar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Atıf Asya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güner Ulu took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu. Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 82nd minute, Seyfi Mahçup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Güner Ulu in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 85 minutes, Mazhar İzzet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yesilköy SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazhar İzzet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazhar İzzet in the 87th minute of play. Mazhar İzzet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu having to interfere. In the 92ndth minute of the game Güner Ulu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rize's Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mazhar İzzet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hüsnü Altuncuoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yesilköy SK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
