The supporters of Anafartalar JK booed when Rumelihisarı SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ensar Kaygun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şükrü Şanalp in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gazanfer Çoğan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yunus Tümerdem came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gazanfer Çoğan could save by the left post. Rumelihisarı SK's Şükrü Şanalp got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yunus Tümerdem took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gazanfer Çoğan. Gazanfer Çoğan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Atıf Taşer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Anafartalar JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rumelihisarı SK:s goal. Gazanfer Çoğan had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Yunus Tümerdem's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Anafartalar JK's Abdullah İşçen got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Şükrü Şanalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rumelihisarı SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Yunus Tümerdem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Gazanfer Çoğan made a huge save. Anafartalar JK's Gazanfer Çoğan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Anafartalar JK from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, Anafartalar JK's goal looked a bit too open when Şükrü Şanalp came free, but Gazanfer Çoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yunus Tümerdem to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Anafartalar JK's goal looked a bit too open when Şükrü Şanalp came free, but Gazanfer Çoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Yunus Tümerdem ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gazanfer Çoğan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Şükrü Şanalp put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gazanfer Çoğan. After having played for 67 minutes, Yunus Tümerdem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumelihisarı SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yunus Tümerdem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gazanfer Çoğan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şükrü Şanalp in the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Abdullah İşçen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anafartalar JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rumelihisarı SK the free kick. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anafartalar JK's goalkeeper Gazanfer Çoğan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Şükrü Şanalp took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gazanfer Çoğan. Gazanfer Çoğan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. If Yunus Tümerdem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gazanfer Çoğan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uğurcan Beyazit in the 87th minute of the match. Gazanfer Çoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yunus Tümerdem, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Rumelihisarı SK's Yunus Tümerdem in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anafartalar JK's goalie prevented a goal. Gazanfer Çoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yunus Tümerdem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rumelihisarı SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
