Tuncay Akgöl hit a great ball. Güney Saban kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Franek Brama came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by FENERBAHÇE's Veysel Bahçeli. But to his dismay, Veysel Bahçeli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Baran Bilge Bakanay's late challenge caught a EMİREFE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baran Bilge Bakanay helped the player get up and apologised. Tuncay Akgöl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Franek Brama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veysel Bahçeli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Veysel Bahçeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilla Kağan Aktaşoğlu in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kutay Servet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's Veysel Bahçeli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franek Brama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 33 played minutes EMİREFE FC got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Sundström. Kutay Servet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Orhan Onkal went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute Veysel Bahçeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franek Brama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franek Brama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncay Akgöl, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Veysel Bahçeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franek Brama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FENERBAHÇE's Işık Sayar suffered a sore thigh after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 47 minutes into the game, Davut Sarıoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EMİREFE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FENERBAHÇE the free kick. Davut Sarıoğlu hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atilla Kağan Aktaşoğlu made a kick off. FENERBAHÇE's Baran Bilge Bakanay shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Franek Brama but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tuncay Akgöl got free with Franek Brama in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Davut Sarıoğlu was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, EMİREFE FC's Davut Sarıoğlu got a free kick in the 61st minute. Franek Brama made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Tuncay Akgöl sent off a good shot on target. Franek Brama made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tuncay Akgöl in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Neşat Şehzade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mattias Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Mattias Sundström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EMİREFE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 83rd match minute, FENERBAHÇE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arman Dönmez to maneuver through the defense. Mattias Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Kutay Servet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If İrfan Budak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in EMİREFE FC's zone, Tuncay Akgöl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franek Brama came out of the goal and Tuncay Akgöl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutay Servet having to interfere.
