Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Turgut Doğangün started the match with the kick off. Muzaffer Koray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tevfik Kural in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Birecik's goal looked a bit too open when Talip Balyemez came free, but Muzaffer Koray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BEKMEZ FC's Gökberk Özgener proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save BEKMEZ FC from getting a goal against them. If Talip Balyemez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the game, Bektaş Uluberk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Birecik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BEKMEZ FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tevfik Kural in the 12th minute of play forced Birecik's goalkeeper Muzaffer Koray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Rafet Mengüç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Muzaffer Koray was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Gökberk Özgener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Doğangün in the 17th minute of play. Talip Balyemez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gökberk Özgener came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Birecik's Enginsu Şahinalp. But to his dismay, Enginsu Şahinalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ahmet Asım Akkuş kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Muzaffer Koray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tevfik Kural's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafet Mengüç in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Muzaffer Koray saved Birecik from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Talip Balyemez in the 32nd minute of play forced Birecik's goalkeeper Muzaffer Koray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gökberk Özgener showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turgut Doğangün in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkay Temircan in the 37th minute of play forced Birecik's goalkeeper Muzaffer Koray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muzaffer Koray came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by BEKMEZ FC's Talip Balyemez. But to his dismay, Talip Balyemez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Muzaffer Koray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talip Balyemez in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Talip Balyemez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Birecik's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Tevfik Kural scored to the left of an out of position Muzaffer Koray, making the score, 2-3. Alp Ağaoğlu scored 2-4 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Muzaffer Koray, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Birecik's goalkeeper Muzaffer Koray had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alp Ağaoğlu. Talip Balyemez charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Talip Balyemez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Muzaffer Koray made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Tevfik Kural sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 65 minutes, Berkay Temircan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BEKMEZ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berkay Temircan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gökberk Özgener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Doğangün in the 67th minute of play. Gökberk Özgener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bektaş Uluberk in the 69th minute of play. After 74 played minutes Birecik got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Asım Akkuş. Tevfik Kural struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Muzaffer Koray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BEKMEZ FC. Pars Uygunel's late challenge caught a BEKMEZ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pars Uygunel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, one of Birecik:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Birecik. The goalkeeper, Muzaffer Koray, was totally fooled by BEKMEZ FC's Talip Balyemez, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. BEKMEZ FC's Talip Balyemez got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, BEKMEZ FC's Talip Balyemez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Muzaffer Koray. Muzaffer Koray yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. After a rather tough play, Birecik's Bektaş Uluberk got a free kick in the 88th minute. 89 minutes in the game, Talip Balyemez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Muzaffer Koray having to interfere. After some careless play in the BEKMEZ FC defense, Ahmet Asım Akkuş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gökberk Özgener. The BEKMEZ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gökberk Özgener should have stopped the shot. BEKMEZ FC played a much better game than Birecik and deserved their victory. The Birecik players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
