Birecik's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Turgut Doğangün in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mümin Cevval prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Birecik's Turgut Doğangün in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hemsin JK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute, Turgut Doğangün ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mümin Cevval was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ramiz Akın kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Birecik's Bektaş Uluberk got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 33rd minute Ahmet Asım Akkuş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mümin Cevval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birecik's Muzaffer Koray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anıl Cenk Yücesoy in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Birecik got a freekick which was hit by Bektaş Uluberk. Rafet Rikap struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Muzaffer Koray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hemsin JK. 38 minutes into the match, Ahmet Asım Akkuş notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hemsin JK's Mümin Cevval. Mümin Cevval was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kayacan Mensur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Muzaffer Koray. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turgut Doğangün to make the kick off. Rafet Rikap hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Mümin Cevval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Doğangün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enginsu Şahinalp hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Rafet Rikap came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Hemsin JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafet Rikap couldn't finish the play. Turgut Doğangün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mümin Cevval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coşkun Asır kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Ramiz Akın's late challenge caught a Hemsin JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiz Akın helped the player get up and apologised. Ramiz Akın hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Halit Ziya Kutlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Muzaffer Koray showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Cenk Yücesoy in the 94th minute of play forced Birecik's goalkeeper Muzaffer Koray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Birecik got a freekick which was hit by Enginsu Şahinalp.
