Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Müfit Kalender in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bilge Kağan Seçkiner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Muhittin Özmert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vecdet Topel having to interfere. The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when ÖSKİ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süruri Tavgaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şakir Eymen hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Vecdet Topel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhittin Özmert in the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Müfit Kalender managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ÖSKİ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Müfit Kalender was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Şakir Eymen got a free kick in the 24th minute. Necdet Ogün's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Bilge Kağan Seçkiner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Behzat Ozaner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Muhittin Özmert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vecdet Topel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bilge Kağan Seçkiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müfit Kalender in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of ÖSKİ FC booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şakir Eymen didn't get a good kick on the ball.
