Mustafa Yaşar Kerem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Kursunlu's Mustafa Yaşar Kerem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tunç Polatalp in the 13th minute of play. Kadim Okbudun kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Yaşar Kerem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tunç Polatalp's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. During the 26th minute of the match Şehzade Toktuğ completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Şehzade Toktuğ a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 26th match minute, Kursunlu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şehzade Toktuğ to maneuver through the defense. Tunç Polatalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustafa Yaşar Kerem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tunç Polatalp ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mustafa Yaşar Kerem was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tunç Polatalp in the 35th minute of play forced Kursunlu's goalkeeper Mustafa Yaşar Kerem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tunç Polatalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Yaşar Kerem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu in the 37th minute of the match. When Kadim Okbudun fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kursunlu's protests and gave Kadim Okbudun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Kursunlu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kadim Okbudun to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Yaşar Kerem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tunç Polatalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu got free with Mustafa Yaşar Kerem in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, Kursunlu's goal looked a bit too open when Tunç Polatalp came free, but Mustafa Yaşar Kerem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Akcasugücü walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
