Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gürel Yavuzcan came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Akcasugücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürel Yavuzcan couldn't finish the play. In the 14th match minute, Akcasugücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tunç Polatalp to maneuver through the defense. Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koray Arıbaş having to interfere. Koray Arıbaş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Abdulkadir Siret cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Avni Öksüzoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Dikimevi's Koray Arıbaş got control of the ball when Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Koray Arıbaş. Dikimevi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 33rdth minute of the game Tunç Polatalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dikimevi's Koray Arıbaş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tunç Polatalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Koray Arıbaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dikimevi's zone, Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koray Arıbaş came out of the goal and Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdulkadir Siret in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avni Öksüzoğlu saved Akcasugücü from getting behind. Eser Kutluay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Avni Öksüzoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tunç Polatalp made a kick off. A collision led to Akcasugücü getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alaaddin İltekin hit a great ball. Koray Arıbaş came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Akcasugücü's Tunç Polatalp. But to his dismay, Tunç Polatalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 64 minutes into the match, Dikimevi's goal looked a bit too open when Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu came free, but Koray Arıbaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Koray Arıbaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu in the 65th minute of play. Tunç Polatalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Koray Arıbaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Alaaddin İltekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, İlmi İskender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Dikimevi's zone, Tunç Polatalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koray Arıbaş came out of the goal and Tunç Polatalp tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 87th minute Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koray Arıbaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Tunç Polatalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Akcasugücü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 93rd minute Ertuğrul Kaveloğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koray Arıbaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koray Arıbaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tunç Polatalp in the 96th minute of play. Akcasugücü's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
