The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mehmet Akif Uğurlubay made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ragıp Yadigar sent off a good shot on target. Ragıp Yadigar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mehmet Akif Uğurlubay firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 9thth minute of the game Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Keskin's Batu Yezid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ragıp Yadigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Akif Uğurlubay having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Süruri Tevfik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Keskin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basciftlik the free kick. Süruri Tevfik kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Emir Nuralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batu Yezid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emir Nuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Keskin's goal looked a bit too open when Emir Nuralp came free, but Batu Yezid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Batu Yezid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Emir Nuralp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basciftlik's supporters rose to their feet, but Emir Nuralp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batu Yezid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yetkin Kızılaslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yetkin Kızılaslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Batu Yezid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emir Nuralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Batu Yezid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu in the 41st minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yetkin Kızılaslan made a kick off. The supporters of Basciftlik booed when Keskin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lütfi Kutlualp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Behçet Gümüşcüoğlus short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Batu Yezid to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 56 minutes, Emir Nuralp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Basciftlik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emir Nuralp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Türkeş Hasankeyf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batu Yezid having to interfere. Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Emir Nuralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batu Yezid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hızır Özdoğal kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Batu Yezid made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Keskin's Cenap Dikici got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ragıp Yadigar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Keskin's zone, Emir Nuralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batu Yezid came out of the goal and Emir Nuralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Behçet Gümüşcüoğlu got free with Batu Yezid in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Basciftlik left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Keskin.
