Karahan Kutel kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, FUTBOLEFSANESİ's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Seccac came free, but Kamer Bozbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ümitköy's Yalçın Oğuztan got control of the ball when İsmail Orhun Yağızkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FUTBOLEFSANESİ booed when Ümitköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atıf Altunhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ahmet Vefik Ulaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. FUTBOLEFSANESİ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Vefik Ulaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yalçın Oğuztan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The Ümitköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yalçın Oğuztan should have stopped the shot. Yalçın Oğuztan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Vefik Ulaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yalçın Oğuztan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İsmail Orhun Yağızkan's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ümitköy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FUTBOLEFSANESİ.
