With a little luck, Hayrabolu's Göktan Sadiray got control of the ball when Hakkı Onur Ceri tried to sneak it across the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Hayrabolu's goal looked a bit too open when Veysel Yoruç came free, but Göktan Sadiray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Olcay Ayık shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 程鹰国 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 8 minutes on the clock, Baran Bilge Lokman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 9 played minutes Hayrabolu got a freekick which was hit by Baran Bilge Lokman. Berker Okdağ came free in the 10th minute and tried to tip the ball over Göktan Sadiray, but to the joy of Hayrabolu's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Göktan Sadiray made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Hakkı Onur Ceri sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor's Güner Özçevik got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Hayrabolu's Efe Ülküsel in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trabzonspor's goalie prevented a goal. Hayrabolu's Göktan Sadiray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nihat Kahveci in the 22nd minute of play. Alim Mete charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alim Mete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Hayrabolu's zone, Veysel Yoruç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göktan Sadiray came out of the goal and Veysel Yoruç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Nihat Kahveci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Göktan Sadiray was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Veysel Yoruç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Göktan Sadiray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Nihat Kahveci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktan Sadiray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göktan Sadiray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veysel Yoruç in the 44th minute of the match. Nihat Kahveci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Göktan Sadiray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goal looked a bit too open when Efe Ülküsel came free, but 程鹰国 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Veysel Yoruç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Hakkı Onur Ceri made a precise shot to the right of Göktan Sadiray. Hayrabolu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Sait Uçhan's late challenge caught a Trabzonspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sait Uçhan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Hayrabolu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sait Uçhan to maneuver through the defense. Nihat Kahveci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Göktan Sadiray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efe Ülküsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 程鹰国 having to interfere. 程鹰国 made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Efe Ülküsel sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Nihat Kahveci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Göktan Sadiray was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Göktan Sadiray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nihat Kahveci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Trabzonspor's 程鹰国 got control of the ball when Efe Ülküsel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Efe Ülküsel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but 程鹰国 made a huge save. After some careless play in the Hayrabolu defense, Veysel Yoruç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Göktan Sadiray. The Hayrabolu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Göktan Sadiray should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Reese Green left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trabzonspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 95 minutes into the game, Trabzonspor's Reese Green nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göktan Sadiray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Trabzonspor fully deserved thier win.
