When Hakkı Onur Ceri came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Trabzonspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakkı Onur Ceri couldn't finish the play. Nihat Kahveci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Emre Hıfzullah when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nihat Kahveci's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Emre Hıfzullah skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denizhan İlkut to make the kick off. After taking down the ball on Trabzonspor's corner Berker Okdağ fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emre Hıfzullah quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nihat Kahveci in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emre Hıfzullah saved Akcaabat from getting behind. Akcaabat's Şeref Aydınalp shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by 程鹰国 but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nihat Kahveci in the 75th minute of play forced Akcaabat's goalkeeper Emre Hıfzullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emre Hıfzullah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nihat Kahveci's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Veysel Yoruç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emre Hıfzullah having to make a save. Emre Hıfzullah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Onur Ceri in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes Akcaabat's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Berker Okdağ who took care of the corner kick. Berker Okdağ made a great header on Trabzonspor's corner, it was just that Akcaabat's Emre Hıfzullah managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 86th minute, Hakkı Onur Ceri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trabzonspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Trabzonspor's Lemi Akman was substituted for Berker Okdağ.
