Yaşar Nuri Sümre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atalay Cespan in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andaç Hafız during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Çiller FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Andaç Hafız hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Ali Behzat Acunalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, BEKTAŞOĞLU's goalkeeper Hilmi Ökkeş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haluk Tüzeman. After 24 minutes, Asım Doğa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Çiller FC and the BEKTAŞOĞLU players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Çiller FC got a freekick which was hit by Asım Doğa. After a defensive mix-up in Çiller FC's zone, Cuma Sarıcabay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaşar Nuri Sümre came out of the goal and Cuma Sarıcabay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, BEKTAŞOĞLU's Cenap Ongunsu got a free kick in the 35th minute. Hilmi Ökkeş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haluk Tüzeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hilmi Ökkeş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafet Ulubaş in the 40th minute. Atalay Cespan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Yaşar Nuri Sümre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Rafet Ulubaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haluk Tüzeman in the 46th minute of play forced BEKTAŞOĞLU's goalkeeper Hilmi Ökkeş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atalay Cespan made a kick off. If Rafet Ulubaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Haluk Tüzeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilmi Ökkeş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haluk Tüzeman in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilmi Ökkeş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The attack was good, but when Haluk Tüzeman in the 82nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haluk Tüzeman in the 84th minute of play forced BEKTAŞOĞLU's goalkeeper Hilmi Ökkeş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Rafet Ulubaş notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of BEKTAŞOĞLU's Hilmi Ökkeş. Hilmi Ökkeş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
