When Baybora Özçelik came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Bursaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baybora Özçelik couldn't finish the play. Kunter Yazıcıoğlu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. Oğuzer Ergüder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulaş Varol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Sezai Temizkal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oyak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bursaspor the free kick. Mesut Atabek kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Oyak getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Denizhan Kebir hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulaş Varol in the 20th minute of play forced Bursaspor's goalkeeper Oğuzer Ergüder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Mesut Atabek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erenay Aşkıner was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kunter Yazıcıoğlu got free with Oğuzer Ergüder in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şimşek Cangun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Erenay Aşkıner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şimşek Cangun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Erenay Aşkıner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 96th play minute Şimşek Cangun came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Erenay Aşkıner. 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bursaspor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
